Empower her is a skills Centre, it’s a group of women of women ages 18 to 45 located in Ntenjeru –Kisoga town council, Mukono district. Through identifying some of our local problems, including the issues of poverty, family separation due to domestic violence and disempowerment of women in the Kisoga community
Empower Her is a women-led charity based in Kisoga, Mukono. We train women in craft making and help them access markets to sell their handmade products, empowering them to earn a sustainable income.
Our programs are open to women and young girls in the Kisoga Mukono community who are interested in learning craft-making skills and improving their livelihoods.
We teach a variety of crafts including beadwork, basket weaving, fabric design, jewelry making, and more, using both traditional and modern techniques.
